Light Snow and Sleet Across Interior New Jersey, New York and Connecticut
A storm passing to the south of the NYC metro area will spread rain and snow along the coast with up to 1 to 3 inches of snow across the interior by Thursday afternoon. The precipitation will move in early Wednesday morning. No more than a little sleet and snow mixed with rain for the city.

Colder Weather for Next Week...Chance of Snow/Sleet Thursday or Friday
The weather pattern has changed completely since early February. Pacific air has been dominating the lower 48 states. Models are indicating a change to colder weather next Thursday into the weekend with a little rain/snow/sleet possible on Thursday or Friday. No major cold snap is in site and the pattern becomes warmer after next weekend. Spring arrives Sunday evening, March 20th!
