Hurricane Harvey Making Landfall Tonight Near Rockport, Texas, Catastrophic Flooding and Winds Tonight and Saturday

Harvey is moving northwest at 8 mph, 27.79 inches central pressure, 130 mph winds gusting to 155 mph.  The storm is forecast to produced a 6 to 13 ft. storm surge. The storm is expected to make landfall near Rockport, Texas. This storm is a major Category 4 storm that will produce catastrophic flooding, rainfall over 25 inches and winds gusting to 130 to 150 mph. The storm is forecast to stall this weekend and then move slowly to the northeast along the coast early next week. This is a very dangerous storm with massive power outages for days or weeks and massive destruction near the track of the storm.
