A Large Band of Light Snow from North Carolina to Maine on this Super Bowl Sunday...

Radar indicates a large elongated area of snow from North Carolina to Maine as a strong upper level jet stream provides strong vertical lift. Low pressure is passing well to the east of the NYC metro area later today and tonight. Accumulations will range from 1 to 3 inches through this afternoon.  A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect. Temperatures will fall into the teens tonight with gusty winds as Arctic high pressure builds in. Temperatures will quickly moderate with highs near 50 on Wednesday and in the 60s on Thursday.
