First Snow of Season in CT...Northeaster Producing Strong Winds Today in Northeast






A storm tracking southwestward across Cape Cod today produced 0.2 to 1.5 inches of snow in CT this morning. The storm also produced rain mixed with sleet and wet snow across northern and central NJ and in and around New York City. A Wind Advisory is in effect for this afternoon throughout the area for wind gusting to 45 mph at times. The storm will begin to move eastward tonight allowing for high pressure and sunshine to return for the rest of the week with temperatures gradually warming up to near 60 by Friday.
