Strong Nor'easter Tonight into Wednesday for the Northeast, Heavy Snow Over Interior New England...

A storm is forming off the coast of North Carolina tonight, it will rapidly intensify as it moves slowly northeastward along the coast and into New England on Thursday. The storm will produce wind gusts up to 60 mph along the coast with more than 2 inches of rain that is expected to lead to flooding. A Coastal Flood Warning is also in effect through 1 PM Tuesday in New Jersey. Heavy wet snow will fall over upstate New York and interior New England with 6 to 10 inches of snow expected.  A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for 1 to 3 inches from interior Virginia to coastal Maine.
