A strong low pressure system moving through central Texas tonight and into the Central Plains on Monday will produce a crippling blizzard with drifts up to 10 feet across a large portion of New Mexico, southeast Colorado, southern Kansas, the Texas Panhandle and western Oklahoma. Up to 20 Inches of Snow will fall with 60 mph wind gusts. The storm will then move into the Central Plains producing up to a foot of snow across portions of Iowa, Minnesota and the Great Lakes. Mild weather will continue in the east with colder weather expected for the first week or two of the New Year. Have a great holiday.
