Amazing...Snow is Falling This Afternoon in Midtown Manhattan...Last Weekend it was 73 on Saturday and 80 on Sunday...

Snow and rain showers cover a large area of the Northeast this afternoon. People (and myself) were amazed at seeing snow over the past hour or so.  The temperature at 5 p.m. in Central Park was 45 degrees. It is windy and cold today, feels like February!  Last Saturday the high temperature was 73 and last Sunday it was 80.  A trace of snow fell between approximately 1:30 and 2:00 a.m. this morning and between approximately 4:45 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. this afternoon in Midtown Manhattan.  The polar vortex is breaking down and this will be the last taste of winterlike weather until next October or November.  This past winter it hardly snowed at all after the early December 1-2, 2019 storm. This is the first time snow has reached the ground in Manhattan since 1977 and only the third time since records began in the mid 1800s.
