Rain from Tropical Storm Debby to Produce Heavy Rains, Tornadoes and Flooding in North Carolina and Mid-Atlantic Today, Rain in NYC Friday

Debby came ashore along the west coast of Florida on Monday, the storm tracked across northeast Florida out in the ocean and came ashore along South Carolina this morning.  Up to 20 inches of rain may fall along the coast of South Carolina. Tornado watches, Flood watches and warnings are in effect. The storm will track into Pennsylvania and western New York State on Friday.  One to 2 inches of rain is forecast for New York City and surrounding suburbs. Sunshine back Saturday afternoon and Sunday.
