Heavy Flooding Continues in Colorado, Hurricane Ingrid to Impact Mexico, Cool in the Northeast

Historic flooding continues in Colorado this evening.  More than 9 inches of rain fell on September 12, 2013 in Boulder.  More than a foot of rain has fallen from September 11-13, 2013 to the west and northwest of Boulder.  A total of 14.62 inches had fallen in Boulder through midday on September 13, 2013.  A raw video of the flooding is available here.   Hurricane Ingrid, the second hurricane of the 2013 season is forecast to move into Mexico producing up to 15 to 25 inches of rain.  This storm is also expected to produce some much needed rain in southern Texas.  The Northeast will be very cool tonight with lows in the 30s and 40s over northern New England and upstate New York to around 50 in New York City.  This is the first day where jackets and coats were worn by residents of New York this season.
