A cold front and an upper air trough moving through the Northeast has spread a long band of snow from Maine to Washington DC. Up to an inch of snow can be expected with roads becoming partially snow covered. Sidewalks in Midtown have a new coating of snow. Central Park received 1.8 inches of snow last Saturday and there is still a little left on the ground - a rare white Christmas for NYC. The weather will be sunny for Christmas Day with a high of 35 to 40 degrees. Have a Merry Christmas.
