Flooding in the East, Not as Hot in the West...

High pressure over the Atlantic will continue to provide a southerly, moist flow of air with heavy downpours and thunderstorms across the Southeast. More than 4 inches of rain across parts of the Vermont led to flooding and road closures, the governor has declared a State of Emergency.  Flooding is also forecast for the Southeast and Atlanta has cancelled some of their 4th of July festivities.  The ridge of high pressure will drift westward and the heaviest rain will move westward to western Kentucky, Tennessee, Alambama, Indiana and Ohio.  Have a great holiday.
