Winter Storm Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories remain in effect this afternoon across the Northeast and the Mid-Atlantic for 4 to 10 inches of snow. Snow continues to fall lightly in the NYC metro area this afternoon. A frontal boundary and two weak areas of low pressure along it will slowly move southeastward later today into tonight. Arctic air has moved into the region with temperatures falling 20 degrees or more from yesterday's mild temperatures. It will be dry and cold for the next few days with milder temperatures next week.
