After a record high of 63 today in Central Park, it is hard to believe that heavy snow is on the way tomorrow. A foot or more is expected across New York City, northern and central New Jersey, southern Connecticut and Long Island. Radar shows rain/snow over the Ohio Valley, the snow will begin in the city by 4 am and continue into early afternoon. Blizzard Warning in effect for eastern Long Island on Thursday for a foot or more of snow, whiteout conditions, gusts to 45 mph. NYC schools will be closed on Thursday. The storm is forecasted to be off the coast of Delaware at 7 a.m. on Thursday, it will intensify as it spreads heavy snow into coastal NE. The weather will be sunny and cold on Friday with a chance of light snow at night. Milder weather with some rain over the weekend.
