Wintry Mix on the Way Tonight for the Northeast
Low pressure will form along the eastern North Carolina coast and this storm will spread moisture across the Northeast including the NYC metro area. Look for snow, sleet and freezing rain overnight with 1 to 4 or 5 inches expected. The heaviest snow and sleet will fall in northwest NJ, interior CT and interior New York State and northeast PA. A Winter Storm Watch in effect for Orange, Putnam and Rockland Counties as well as northern Westchester County. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect through Tuesday morning for interior New Jersey.
