1 to 3 Inches of Snow Today in the New York City Metropolitan Area...

The third snowfall in six days in the New York Metropolitan area is winding down this evening.  The snow is very light now in Midtown and is tapering off.  The snow will move from west to east and it will continue to snow across Long Island for an hour or two longer.  Snowfall totals ranged from 1 to 3 inches since the snow began around 3:30 p.m. The cold snap will continue this weekend with moderating temperatures next week.
