Snow for Christmas Eve and Christmas Morning for Parts of the Northeast and NYC Metro Area...

Two areas of low pressure, one moving across Pennsylvania and another one forming off the coast will produce light snow, sleet and rain across the Northeast during the night of Christmas Eve into Christmas morning. The NAM is warmer than the GFS as the rain/snow line across New Jersey and NYC differs slightly. There will be rain mixing with snow from Central NJ southward as well as the city and across Long Island. As much as 1 to 3 inches of snow is expected north and west of the city across interior sections. A cold blast of air will follow Christmas Day and it will be cold for the remainder of the week with the possibility of snow next Friday and Saturday in the NYC Metro area. Have a great holiday.
