Unusual Snowfall This Evening in New York City Area and Long Island
Tonight an area of snow developed around 6 PM. The snow continued for more than six hours coatings roadways and sidewalks with a dusting of snow. Temperatures in the 20s tonight and highs on Tuesday will only be in the 20s. It will be fair and cold here this week. Heavy lake effects snows in upstate New York and Pennsylvania Tuesday and Wednesday. No snow expected in the NYC metro area through this weekend.
