Radar indicates bands of heavy snow with rates of 2 to 4 inches per hour now moving northward through Monmouth and Ocean Counties of NJ. Blinding snow, strong winds and temperatures in the 20s are occuring now throughout the region. As much as 12 to 16 inches of snow fell in the Washington, DC area and up to 25 to 30 inches of snow fell in parts of interior Virginia.
