The historic Blizzard of 2013 is moving away this evening. There is still a little light snow on radar across Cape Cod and over parts of Maine. Gusty winds and low wind chills will prevail tonight with lows in the teens and single digits across most of the Northeast include New York City. This storm caused more than 650,000 power outages mostly in Massachusetts and there were four deaths attributed to the storm. A total of 40 inches of snow fell in Hamden, CT which set an all-time state record. The wind gusted to 82 mph in Westport, CT and 75 mph near Plum Island, LI. A total of 11.4" fell in Central Park.
