The third storm in a week to affect the Northeast will begin Saturday with snow developing during the morning. The snow will change to rain along the coast with a period of sleet and freezing rain before the changeover. As much as 8 to 12 inches are forecast inland with 3 to 5 inches along the coast. A foot or more can be expected across the Catskills and the inland ski resorts of New England.
