Very low wind chills and strong winds will be present through early next week across the Mid-Atlantic to New England. Wind Chill Advisories, Watches and Warnings are in effect across the region. A coastal storm is forecast to develop into a strong Nor'easter, with heavy snow and blizzard conditions forecast for coastal New England on Sunday. As much as 2 to 4 inches of snow is expected in New York City on Saturday and Saturday night with higher amounts over eastern Long Island. A total of 8 to 14 inches of snow is expected in Boston. A High Wind Watch is in effect from northern Virginia to southern Connecticut including the New York City metropolitan area for wind gusts late Saturday night and Sunday as high as 60 mph. This will produce very low wind chills as low as -10 to -20 F. A Blizzard Watch is in effect for coastal New England including Boston. Low temperatures by Monday morning will be near -11 in Albany, NY, 1 in New York City, 0 in Philadelphia and -2 in Boston.
