Paralyzing winter storm continues to spread a huge about of snow and rain from the Mid-Atlantic states to the Deep South this evening. Winter Storm Warnings and Blizzard Warnings remain in effect. A Winter Storm Watch is in effect for NYC and Long Island. The snow will became even heavier tonight with 20" to 30" or more expected across northern VA, southeastern PA, eastern MD, DE and southern NJ. Washington, DC and Baltimore will see 20" to 30" and as much as 18" will fall in Philadelphia. The last map above is the NWS snowfall total foreacst for the NYC metro area.
