Two Winter Storms Next Week in the Northeast/NYC Metro Area...

The latest computer guidance indicates the potential for two winter storms next week for the NYC metro area, the Mid-Atlantic states and coastal New England. Snow, sleet and freezing rain can be expected to move into the NYC tri-state region on Monday night and change to rain near the coast on Tuesday with mostly snow and/or sleet to the north and west of the city. Then another quick storm is forecast to form in the Gulf of Mexico and follow a classic "'70s" coastal track right up the coast for Thursday. This storm looks to be colder with more snow and sleet for coastal sections but also a changeover to rain is possible especially over eastern sections of Long Island and CT. The weather pattern looks cold and stormy for the eastern USA for the next 10 days or so. More updates on these storm later this weel.
